Can an encrypted message be sent from a wireless to wired network without being decrypted and encryp

Is there any quick solution to send an encrypted message from a wireless network to a wired network without going through the process of decryption and then encrypting again?
If you set up a VPN server on your wired network, you can use the VPN client on the wireless client computers to connect through the wireless network, authenticate to the wired network and encrypt the entire session content passing from wireless client on wireless network to wired network. It would be encrypted on the client and decrypted on wired network.
