Q

Creating a text list of policies in MMC console

Within the MMC console, is it possible to create a single text list of the entire Local Computer Policy -- folders, subfolders and their entire list of policy settings -- all into a single document that I can then print out? This also applies to "Security Configuration and Analysis" and "Security Templates." I would like to have all of this info on printed pages so I can go down the list and pre-select what settings I would like to implement in a written form before actually implementing.
Local policies cannot be easily printed out. Policies can be easily printed out using Group Policy Management Console. However, a spreadsheet of policy possibilities is available from Microsoft -- this is a much more usable product for the purpose you seek.
