Flash page problems with Windows XP SP2

I have got Windows XP SP2 on my system. I have got a flash page in which there is a link to some other Web page. Whenever I click on the link on the flash page, I get a message "Access denied." The problem does not occur with Win2k, and everything works fine except in Win XP SP2. Do you have any idea why it is doing this?
The first thing that comes to mind is to update your flash player. It could be that some security setting(s) in Internet Explorer are causing this to happen as well. You could try resetting IE by selecting Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Restore Defaults. Also, you may want to temporarily disable the Windows Firewall and any other system protection to see if one of those is the culprit. Just be careful what you do on the computer with any security programs disabled, and remember to immediately re-enable them when you're done.
