HTTP 403 (FORBIDDEN) message requires credentials

I have an "HTTP 403 (FORBIDDEN) message. You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied."

I just got this problem. I tried everything that I know of. I was trying to update my Windows, and every page I went to I got this 403. How can I get the credentials that I need to update my Windows?

Is this on a company owned computer? You may be prevented from making these updates and need to call your company support desk. If it is your own computer, are you logged on as a user with administrative privileges?
