Sharing encrypted files in a Win2k domain using the API function: AddUsersToEncryptedFile

I need to share encrypted files in a Windows 2000 domain. In general, I know it is not possible, but I read somewhere that an API function exists: AddUsersToEncryptedFile. Is this the solution? What can I do? Thank you very much.

I have not tried this and find conflicting information. The existence of the API would seem to say that it is possible, but I have yet to find someone who has done so. Those interested can find the API definition here; this article gives further information. Otherwise I find lots of reference on the Net that reference this, but no sample code or notes from anyone who claims to have done so.

I did find this SearchWin2000 Ask the Expert response from a previous security expert at the site that may be helpful.
