Should I worry about viruses infecting 64-bit Windows systems?
Sure, there's already a "proof of concept" virus referred to as W64.Shruggle that affects Windows 64-bit code. The 64-bit aspect of Windows (or any other code for that matter) simply refers to how the program addresses memory, data, etc. in the computer, so the systems can still be infected. Wherever there are computers, wherever there are programs, there'll always be malware a few steps ahead.
