There is a virus W32/magistr.b@MM in three .CAB files of my computer. These were identified by the McAffee virus program I have. Any idea on how to get rid of the virus? The files resist deletion. Most common response to effort to delete or move the file is Access Denied. Thanks for your reply.
According to the Norton Web site, to remove W32.Magistr.b@mm and the Trojan that it drops, run NAV and repair any infected files. Files that cannot be repaired should be deleted. Then remove the W32.Magistr.Trojan entry in the Shell= line of System.ini and any entries that it added to the registry.
