Q

Why is our mapped drive reverting to previous mapping?

A mapped drive on a Win2k machine with SP4 is reverting to a previously used mapping for that drive. At one point it was happening every day but the last one was stable for four days. Why is this?
It could be your workstations are using cached settings instead of the new ones. Check your logon scripts to see if the following switch is present: "net use /persistent:Yes." If it is, change it to "net use /persistent:no" and add "net use * /delete" command to delete any cached drive mapping settings.
