About this Download:
Simple File Shredder (SFS) is a utility that securely deletes your files so they can't be restored using recovery software. SFS ensures your privacy by scrambling file names, over-writing files with random bytes, changing the file date/time to a random date/time value and verifying files have been completely shredded before deleting them.
SFS also supports shredding the Windows Recycle Bin, Recent Documents, and Temp files. Also supported is Firefox, Opera and Netscape browser "junk files" (cache, cookies, etc.).
A good use for SFS would be to securely delete electronic financial statements, private e-mail, porn, etc.
