As editorial director, Cathy plans and oversees strategy and operations for TechTarget's Data Center and Virtualization Media Group. She works closely with the editorial team to keep the many sites focused on the information needs of IT professionals. Previously, she was the editorial director for the Channel Media Group and online editorial director for SearchStorage.com. In her 9+ years at TechTarget, Cathy has also launched and operated three websites: SearchWin2000.com, SearchSecurity.com and SearchMobileComputing.com. Prior to TechTarget, she worked at Computerworld, holding positions such as careers editor, senior editor and assistant department editor for the technology section. |

As Associate Editor for SearchWinIT.com and SearchEnterpriseDesktop.com, Kristin develops site content and keeps members up-to-date with the latest news, tips and expert advice. She previously served as Assistant Editor for SearchSecurity.com where she created special learning initiatives like podcasts, technical guides and quizzes. Prior to joining TechTarget in 2004, she was an Editor at The New York Real Estate Journal in Norwell, Mass. She holds a BA in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. |

Abbey M. Weintraub, Associate Editor

Abbey joined TechTarget in 2007 as Assistant Site Editor for SearchExchange.com. She then worked on SearchSQLServer.com. After a year as an Assistant Editor, she moved on to the role of Editorial Events Associate where she spent a year working on seminars and conferences for the Windows and Data Center media groups. Abbey is currently working as Associate Site Editor for SearchEnterpriseDesktop.com and SearchVirtualDesktop.com where she manages overall day-to-day maintenance of the site including weekly newsletters, expert tips and new media, such as podcasts and webcasts. Abbey is a proud graduate of Rutgers University, where she majored in Journalism and Media Studies and interned at ABC News Radio. |

Steve Cimino joined TechTarget as Assistant Editor in May 2008 with a BS in Journalism. As Assistant Editor, he assists in the management of the newsletters, editing expert tips and helping with the overall day-to-day maintenance of the site. Before signing up with the company, he wrote for the Boston Phoenix, the South Philly Review in Philadelphia and the Hounslow Chronicle across the pond in London, England. Steve enjoys the cinema and reading while remaining an avid enthusiast of his hometown Philadelphia sports teams, especially the world champion Philadelphia Phillies. |

Lauren Horwitz is the managing editor of the Data Center Virtualization group at TechTarget. Horwitz comes to Data Center from CIO Decisions magazine, where she also served as the managing editor and a contributing writer. Previously, she was a senior editor at Cutter Consortium, an IT research firm, and an editor at the American Prospect, a political journal.
In 2007, her work won awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors and Trade, Association and Business Publications International. |
