Building a push application, client and server - Vendor Webcast

ABOUT THIS WEBCAST

Premiered:

01 SEP 2004, 12:00 EDT (16:00, GMT)

Speaker:

John Edward - Wireless Solutions Architect, Applications, Research In Motion

Summary:

The BlackBerry solution enables users' handhelds to remain continuously connected to the wireless network. In the same way that the BlackBerry Enterprise Server sends new email messages to users' handhelds, you can write push applications that deliver information to specific users as it becomes available. This session will provide an overview of using the Mobile Data Service for push services, and explain how to create a simple client/server push application.
