I can't remember my Windows 2000 sign-on password!

I can't remember my Windows 2000 sign-on password. Of course, I don't have the software either. Is there anything I can do short of buying another software package to install? I have an IBM ThinkPad.
Contact IBM and/or the company you bought the computer from. They may have a restore disk available. Alternatively, you might search the web for programs that can be used to boot from the floppy and attack and change the administrator's password. Use these programs at your own risk.
