Enterprise Device Alliance (EDA)
The Enterprise Device Alliance (EDA), formerly known as the Enterprise Desktop Alliance, is a vendor alliance that produces resources to help large organizations deploy, integrate, and manage Macs, iPhones, iPads and Android devices in Windows-managed environments. In December 2014, the alliance announced that it had completed its task of delivering research, information and education but would continue to make its content available for free until December 31, 2015.
The alliance was originally created to promote the interoperability of non-Windows computing devices with business-critical enterprise systems. EDA produced webcasts and whitepapers and hosted free seminars to help IT departments solve their interoperability problems. The founding members of the EDA include Centrify, LANrev, Atempo, GroupLogic and Parallels.
