The System Mechanic 8.0 is a PC Tune-up software with seven functional categories and over 40 tools to run repairs and modifications.


By removing unneeded services from the startup, System Mechanic 8.0 cleans out system-clogging clutter and automatically finds and repairs errors and fragmentations.

With the New Visual Registry Optimization Tool, System Mechanic 8.0 graphically shows and removes the fragmentation left over after a registry is cleaned of errors.

Additional System Mechanic 8.0 capabilities include:

  • Provides real-time data about the status of hard drives, including drive temperature, with the DriveSense monitor

  • Includes interface enhancements to help users navigate throughout the System Mechanic, and Vista users now have an integrated frame display
