Avoid interruptions with the Quiet Hours Windows 8 setting

Windows 8 is designed so that your apps can notify you when things happen. For instance, you can receive mail notifications or calendar notifications. Sometimes, though, all these notifications can become annoying. Windows 8.1 allows you to control which apps are allowed to display notifications. You also have the ability to specify quiet hours during which you will not be disturbed by notifications, as shown here.
